Annular Solar Eclipse 2010 - The longest Eclipse


The longest Solar Eclipse of this century would take place today in just few minutes. It is also the annular eclipse which means that the moon is too far to cover the sun entirely. We will bw able to see a ring around the moon. This solar eclipse would be visible in many parts of India. At this time it is expected that more than 10 lakh people would visit Kurushetra during this eclipse. The best places to see the eclipse in its annular from would be Dhanuskodi town near Rameshwaram. This eclipse may last for 10 minutes. Please do not look at the sun directly since it may affect your eyes. While using telescope take sufficient precaution....
