Diagnosing lung cancer from gold nano particles
The researchers at the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute in Haifa, Israel have developed a sensor made from gold nanoparticles that distinguish between the breath of those with lung cancer from those without it. It was stated that the exhalation need not to be pre-treated in any way. The device was also capable of identifying different primary types of lung cancer. For more information click here
